CEVA has been advised by Pacific National that the E-W-E Network will remain closed in the Rawlinna WA region until at least Saturday 27th March 2024. One large body of water remains and is not subsiding as quickly as we would hope. PN are supporting ballast work in other accessible locations, and will continue to support works to get its network open as quickly as possible. In actively managing the situation, we are taking advantage of available shipping on the East-West Lanes where possible.

The highway between Fitzroy Crossing and Timber Creek has re-opened, and all services are now operational, however, this may be temporary as Cyclone Megan threatens services in the north of the country.

East – West – East

Heavy rain in the WA Goldfields and Nullarbor has cut the Trans-Australian Railway and Eyre Highway. These closures will affect our operations East – West – East. The closure is expected to last for some days, and we advise at this stage that we will require an additional 7-10 days transit time added to our services on this lane.

WA – NT – WA

Heavy rain in the North-West of WA has caused flooding in the region and closed the Great Northern Highway. We advise at this stage that we will experience delays to current services and will require an additional 10 – 14 business days on this lane at time of writing. The current weather conditions have led to several other road closures in Western Australia which may also affect our operations. These delays as you are aware are unavoidable, however we will continue to actively monitor the situation and keep you updated.
