Disruption to Services - East – West – East, Pacific National Shut Down

Pacific National has advised that it has revised its service plans for the upcoming ARC 110hr + ARTC 
East West Shutdown (1st week of September). Consequently, CEVA’s East – West Corridor services will also be impacted 
further by this closure revision. 

With the last rail service ex Victoria expected to be 28/08 and the last SA service West 31/08, we 
envision that the flow on effect from this closure will impact our services with 12-15 business days 
needing to be added to our transit times. 

For any vehicles currently in transit, we will monitor the situation and advise of any delays.

Importantly, we will communicate updates of the closure (with the hope that works may finish prior to 
the advertised timeline of PN). Post shutdown, CEVA will maximise available services to reduce 
impacts.
